Our Puppies

We raise our pups in a loving environment and around people. This brings out the best in the Labrador as a breed. They are held, cuddled and played with starting from birth until they leave us. I "mess with" their ears, paws, mouth, etc., so they will allow future appointments, cleanings and such (hopefully) without much anxiety.  All puppies will be up-to-date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and fully de-wormed before we release them. They can join your home at eight weeks old with confidence that the pup is healthy, well cared-for and ready to join your family!

Shipping

Our puppies' health is our only concern when shipping the little guys. We are happy to ship inter-island as long as the adopting parents meet the pup at the time of arrival. The cost of shipping and an airline-approved crate will be added to the final price due prior to the release of the puppy. We service Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Lanai, Molokai and of course, The Big Island!

Choosing a Pup and Visiting

Once the $500 deposit is received, you are given a "pick number." Choosing your new best friend takes place during week 6 so they have their personalities. You may either visit us by appointment or I am happy to Facetime so you can choose your new love! I provide update photos (videos if the opportunity arises) of your reserved pup as the weeks progress. Once we pass the 6-week mark, vaccines and check ups get in the way but I do try to keep the photos going!

Registering Your Pup

While we don't require it, we prefer that you spay/neuter your pup. Our puppies are offered with limited registration only. We will only release the individual registration once the new parents provide proof of spay/neuter. Per the AKC, "Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. Limited Registration helps breeders protect their breeding programs." It allows us to select the future Dam and Sire so that we continue only the best in the lines. Our dogs are (OFA) certified and cleared for hips, elbows (we do not breed any rated "fair" or below) and eyes (CERF).

Purchasing a Puppy

Our puppies are $3000 each plus GE tax.  If we are shipping your new addition to another island, the cost is additional with no mark-up.  Typically, it is $85 for the flight and $45 for the airline-approved crate.  We use Hawaiian Airlines Cargo as the hard crates will not fit under the seat in the cabin.  We have a dear friend who works there and makes sure the puppies are the last on the plane and the first off.  I escort them as far as they allow. If we are shipping your puppy to you, you will need to go to the cargo area of your airport for pick-up.  I complete the paperwork and will give you the information  to show the airline personnel.
